Commissioned project
The project aimed at creating a traditional yet modern Indian cover design for UK-based author Awais Hussain’s first book ‘Travels in India’ that encompasses his experiences through his year-long travels across the cities and villages of India. The idea was to create a clean, minimal look for the cover that draws inspiration from traditional Indian motifs like arches, lotuses and flourishes and depicting them in a sophisticated, monoline format.
